TRAILS & GROOMING UPDATE

Good morning, it’s around -9C at 6:00 am and we had about 1cm of fresh snow overnight. It may feel a little colder with the wind today, but temperatures are expected to rise to around 0C this afternoon under cloudy skies. With the recent snowfall, watch for snow “bombs” falling from trees under canopied areas such as Busk Euphrates and the Cabin, Wolverine and Moose loops.

Currently, grooming is complete in the Stadium area and on Apex & Cottonwood, and the groomer is now up Clearwater. Busk Euphrates will be done next, followed by final turns on the Night Loop.

We may get a few more flurries tonight and we welcome this return to winter weather with open arms and tracksetters down! With a little more compression after tonight’s grooming, all that fresh snow we have received should give us excellent skiing today and for many days to come.
