Valentine’s Eve Ski
Thursday, February 13th, 6 to 9 pm
Enjoy an evening of skiing, light and friendship on the night before Valentine’s Day. (Not on Feb. 14, due to Kootenay Cup on Feb 15 & 16 this year.)
Meet at Apex for festivities and night skiing by tiki light.
Live music with Jaime Bastedo at 6:30 and 8:00.
Wish lanterns distributed at 7:30 (weather dependent).
Bring a headlamp, a mug for hot apple cider, a non-perishable food item, and remember to wear red.
If you can, please bring healthy Valentine’s treats (finger food, appies or desserts) to share.

A fun ski event for all ages and abilities. Ski your own pace and distance, with 3km, 5km and 10km courses available.

A fun way to challenge yourself and ski the entire trail system at Nelson Nordic Ski Club. Ski on your own or with a partner/team! Classic or free technique!
Join us at Apex Hut and get registered between 9am and noon. Get your orienteering card. Ski all the trails, collecting the necessary punches for your card. Bring your card to Finley’s later.
Prizes will be awarded that evening at 7pm at Finley’s Burger & Beer Fundraiser, where we’ll be raising money for our new grooming machine.
Poker Run: best hand wins prize money, awarded at Finley’s

Join Nelson Nordic’s Track Attack and Junior Racers at our popular annual Pumpkin Hunt to raise funds for our youth ski programs!
We will hide 100 pumpkins in our Enchanted Forest. Children 12 years and under are invited to hunt for a pumpkin, with our ski team athletes to guide them into the forest. FUN for the whole family!
Admission of $20 includes one pumpkin, two hot chocolates and a snack around the fire.
In order to spread out participants and make it a fun and safe event, we will have two sessions, one beginning at 10 am and the second beginning at 11 am. All tickets must be purchased online in advance at nelsonnordicski.square.site
