Enjoy skiing with new friends while improving your technique!
We apologize but the session on February 27 has been canceled. We will reconvene on Thursday, March 6, for our last session of the season.
New this year, we are offering a social drop-in ski on Thursday nights. These evenings will be organized as a social ski but will not involve a formal lesson format. Instead, this will be a group ski led by certified CANSI instructors who may offer some technique tips along the way. We plan to have an instructor for skate and classic leading the group each week.
Join us on Thursday nights at 6 p.m., meeting at the Apex trailhead. No pre-registration required, though there will be a $5 drop-in fee for all who attend and trail fees apply for non-members.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to pay any fees, sign waivers (once for the season) and get your skis on. Remember to bring a headlamp (we will be leaving the lit Night Loop) and your own skis, boots and poles. We have no rental gear on site. If you need to rent gear, please visit our friends at
Gericks in downtown Nelson.
