Thanks to the coaches of the Jan 10th clinic – Kaj, George, Denise, Jay, Tom, Gerry, and Dominique!
A shout out to Oso Negro for the Thank-You Gifts to the coaches of the first clinic this season. Oso has been very generous to our club and has donated to many work bees and clinics in the past.
A Show of Appreciation for NNSC Director Kevin Johnson Who Served from 2008 To 2014
The Directors and Staff would like to thank Kevin Johnson for his years of volunteerism on the NNSC board. Kevin joined the board in March 2008 as the Camp Busk representative. It was about 2010 when he started looking after the equipment. If the club needed something done, Kevin always stepped in.
He was instrumental in locating the Husky for the club and negotiated the deal to purchase it and sell the PB 160.
His other big project was the construction of the Euphrates shelter. He was volunteering every weekend for a couple of months. Not only did he help build the shelter, he donated materials such as the stove and windows
.
Thank you Kevin!

All The Trails Are Open
Good news….due to these freezing temperatures we have been experiencing the groomer was able to complete the grooming on the main Cottonwood Loop along with the upper portion of the Busk Loop…All our trails are groomed for both classic and skate skiing with the exception of Loop 4, which is narrow at this time set classic tracks and Loop 1 which requires additional snow coverage to do the same. Some debris appearing on the canopied sections of all our trails….Enjoy!!!!
