The time is 7:15 am and the temperature is -3c. We received 5cm of snow over night with flurries expected through the day; conditions are lovely and awaiting your Saturday ski. Temperatures are expected to rise to about -1 and drop again this evening.
Apex, Cottonwood, Night loop and Clearwater including the loops have been refreshed and Busk/Euphrates is in progress and should be completed soon.
Be careful walking in the parking lots, with all the freeze and thaw events they are likely to be icy in sections.
The time is 10:15 am and the temperature is -1c. We received a good amount of snow over night and conditons have recovered from yesterday’s weather. Access on Hwy 6 to the Club is at a standstill with an accident at Whitewater road.
Check the Whitewater hwy 6 road cam on drive BC before coming out to see if the traffic is moving.
All the trails have been groomed except for night creek. The lower section of night loop is wet so take care crossing over at the junction to Busk. We received about 15 cm of snow and flurries are forescasted throughout the day.

February 25, 2024 Good Morning Nelson Loppet skiers! Today is the day for Maya and Kaelum’s Nelson Loppet, start time at Busk parking lot is 10:00am, try out the 1km Storybook course or the 5km distance:)
The time is 6:45am and the temperature is +1c. Snow expected through out the day. Grooming is done on Cottonwood/Rail grade out to the orange gates. Night loop and Apex loop are also complete. Busk/Euphrates is complete with only East Busk and the connector being left un-groomed. Clearwater grooming is in progress and the 1st km has cleaned up with some new snow coverage. I hope to see everyone out at the Loppet, Jackrabbits and bunnies are participating too! Have fun!
Join us for a beautiful ski by moonlight (and Tiki torches!) to the Euphrates Cabin. We’ll have an outdoor bonfire, hot apple cider and plenty of good vibes! The cabin will be open.
Please be sure to bring your own mug for cider, as well as a headlamp. The route will be partially illuminated with Tiki torches back from the cabin along the Rail Trail.
