Good Morning Folks,

This is exciting, today is the first day of opening. Both Kiosks will be open for you to buy day passes, get your stickers for the season and you can get get cards printed and purchase season passes at the Apex kiosk.

Temperatures at Apex right now is -1c as of 6:45am. It should be a mix of sun and cloud for the day with the temperature around 0c.

Grooming has started with Clearwater being in good shape. Wolverine and Cabin Loop have been groomed, but need a bit more snow to come out even, so ski with caution. Most of the other trails have been packed but still need some snow to make them nice to ski. Cottonwood is groomed but Mitch does not recommend skiing anything on the Apex side as of yet.

Snow is predicted early in the week and things should only improve from here.

Opening Day is this Saturday, December 16, 2023! We have early season conditions on our trails therefore some trails are likely to remain closed. Here is the low down…or should I say snow down:)

Snow is in the forecast over the next few days which will help all the trails, especially the Apex trail head which is showing dirty patches at the start as you head to the Cottonwood trail (Please note that our Apex snowcam is not live as we are doing some work in and around the cat barn. We hope to have this up and running soon).

Clearwater is is in good condition and set for classic and skate.

Busk/Euphrates on the rail grade is in good condition too.

We have some issues around the Euphrates cabin and this will remain closed.

Cottonwood on the rail grade is in good condition all the way down to the lake.

We will be grooming the night before opening day, stay tuned for our Saturday, early morning grooming report for a full update of the trail conditions.

Busk Kiosk will be open to help you get your pass 2023/24 stickers or with your day pass purchases. If you need to have a yearly pass made up or wish to sign up for your membership pop over to the Apex Kiosk and Dave will help you out.
