Trail and Grooming Update

Good Morning Folks,

It is 6:45am and we have had periods of snow through the last 24 hours with heavy snow in the forecast this evening. The trails have about 5cm of new snow on the ground. Temperature is 0c with overcast skies. It should be about +1c by midday with snow flurries throughout the day.

Grooming is about the same as yesterday with Clearwater and Loops complete, the North portion of Busk Rail grade and South part of Apex Rail grade are refreshed. This bit of snow should clean up most of the dirty patches and give a nice refresh to the trails.

Jackrabbit Programming starts this Sunday on the Apex side and we are excited by the forecast of a big snowfall for our Apex trails!

With these challenging above zero below zero temperatures, always be prepared for icy patches, and don’t hesitate to walk down a stretch you don’t feel comfortable skiing.
