..-1 degrees…no precipitation overnight….Clearwater main trail, Apex, Night Loops and Cottonwood main trail skate lanes were groomed last night and in Fair condition….Busk/Euphrates, Cottonwood loops will be groomed for tomorrow….”why not the classic tracks” you ask, for two reasons. The first is with the combination of warm/wet weather, and freeze/thaw weather, it’s best to leave them as is in the event that the classic tracks would be difficult to re set….the grooming of the skate lanes is being done with the BR180, which is our smaller machine, and the Prinoth is undergoing some maintenance, which is the larger grooming machine with the track pans…We are hoping to have the Prinoth up and running by the week end, and if these cooler temperatures stay with us, we will use it to re set the classic tracks. With snow in the forecast, we may receive a few centimeters on our trails which will in turn improve the conditions…the classic tracks are holding up well, they will be icy in sections until the temperatures rise….debris appearing on all canopied sections of all trails….Enjoy!!!
