Good Morning Nelson Nordic,

Conditions at our club as of 6:45am are -7c with about 2cm of snow accumulation over the last 12 hours. Mid day temperatures should be around -4. Some light flurries this morning with no more snow predicted until the evening.

Mark was grooming last night and all the trails on both Apex and Busk side are refreshed. The section of Euphrates that was closed, was able to be groomed last night, and is also now open again.

We have another Henry the Eighth, Rex fact. It was on this day in 1531 the pope denied Henry’s petition to divorce his first wife, Catherine of Aragon, to marry Anne Boleyn. This makes him go ape, breaking with the Catholic church, to create the protestant Church of England. The marriage to Anne lasted only until 1536, where after only giving birth to one girl, instead of a boy, he has her executed on trumped up charges. The one daughter from the marriage is Elizabeth, who became one of England most notable monarchs.
