Trails and Grooming Update

Thursday January 13, 2022

Good Morning Skiers,

Conditions at our club as of 6:30am are a hair north of 0c with no new snow accumulation overnight. Temperatures by midday will be around 2c with a mix of sun and cloud. Apart from the above zero temperatures it will probably be a great day for sking.

Mark is grooming today, and he has completed Clearwater and all loops, and Busk/Euphrates minus the connector. Mark has also completed the Stadium and will go on to groom the Night Loop. Cottonwood may or may not be done, as there are trees down and the chain broke on the saw.

On this day in 1849, a royal charter was issued, by Queen Victoria, granting Vancouver Island to the Hudson Bay Company, for seven shillings a year. Pretty Good Deal. That would be a bricklayers wage for seven days work.
