Good Morning skiers,
Conditions at our club, as of 6:30am are -2c with about 10cm or about 4 inches of fresh snow in the last 24 hours. Temperatures should rise to around 0c by midday, with a mix of sun and cloud.

Graham is grooming this morning and has just completed Clearwater, including all its loops which are in excellent condition. He is just starting on Busk/Euphrates followed by Apex which should be complete around 9am.

On this day in 1606 the conspirator, Guy Fawkes was executed for his part in November 5 1605, gunpowder plot. He was a disaffected Catholic that was upset that King James I had not brought about pro Catholic policies in the two years since he took the throne of England. He had smuggled 36 barrels of gunpowder into the Parliaments basement and intended to detonate it while Parliament was in session killing the King and all the MPs, hoping that what came after would be more favorable to the Catholic faith. It was discovered before the gunpowder could be detonated. Remember Remember the 5th of November!
