TRAILS & GROOMING UPDATE

Approximately 8 cm of fresh snow in the last 24 hours and more snow in the forecast. The Jackrabbits and Bunnies program runs this morning at Apex, so unless you’re associated with the program, please park at the Busk parking lot until noon.

As of 7:30 a.m., we have groomed Clearwater main trail up to the Cabin Loop with our secondary grooming machine. Currently being trackset for classic with the sled/ginzu. Should be in good condition for skate, excellent for classic.

Busk Euphrates: team just completed two passes with the groomer, will be trackset next. Looking to be in excellent shape. Skaters, please give the trail a little time to set up.

Teaching area/stadium to be groomed next, followed by Apex Loop. Please slow down and use caution if skiing near grooming machines.

Yesterday, our mechanic determined that the main hydraulic system of the primary grooming machine is functioning properly but there remains a serious electrical issue that means the secondary hydraulics (blade and tiller functions) are not working. Suffice to say we have mechanics working on the issue but it may be another day or more before the machine is operable. The grooming team is doing its best to keep at least some trails groomed each day. Thank for your patience and understanding.
