Snow day! Schools may be closed, but Nelson Nordic is open for business!

We received approximately 24cm of fresh snow in the last 24 hours.

As of 8:30 a.m., Apex Loop, Night Loop and Clearwater main trail have been groomed for skate and classic. There was a lot of powder to contend with, on Clearwater particularly, but we do have it groomed all the way to the bell.

Busk Euphrates will be done next. Should be done around 11:00 a.m. Please observe trail closure signs, and slow down and use caution when skiing near grooming machines in operation.

Caution: with a forecast high of -10C today, with cold winds and blowing snow, please dress appropriately for the conditions. Also, snow conditions are likely best for classic skiing in these temperatures.
