Good morning folks,

As of 06:40AM conditions at our club are -5 Celsius with clear skies and calm winds. Predicted day time highs are +9 Celsius and clear skies to continue.

Alida is the groomer today and she tells me trail conditions are excellent! Grooming is complete on Apex, Cottonwood, the night loop, rail grade and Clearwater. Busk/Euphrates should be complete shortly. Thanks Alida!

On this day in 1903, Judge Roy Bean passed away. Bean, ran the Jersey Lilly Saloon near the Pecos river in South West Texas. He was also the judge for the sparsely populated area, and considered the only law west of the Pecos. Bean would hold court from his saloon and issue random and bizarre rulings. When one customer paid for a 5 cent drink with a $20 gold coin, Bean refused to give change. When the man complained Bean fined him $19.95 for disturbing the peace. Bean also once fined a corpse $40 for carrying a concealed firearm ($40 was the amount of cash found on the body).
