Good Morning and Happy St. Patrick’s day!

Saint Patrick was born by the name Maewyn Succat, in Roman Britain in 387AD, in what today would be England or Wales. At the age of 16 he was captured by Irish raiders and taken back to Pagan Ireland, where he was enslaved for six years, mostly working as a Sheppard. He finally made his escape back to Britain and his family. He then became a priest, and returned to Ireland in 432AD, where he proceeded to convert the Irish to Christianity (and as legend goes, rid Ireland of snakes, by driving them into the sea). St. Patrick is buried in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland.
