‘Twas the day before Christmas and the only creatures stirring so far are Lois, our PistenBully 100 snowcat, and old Mother Nature delivering another load of snow and some milder temperatures for Christmas. 

At 6:45 am it’s -12C and snowing heavily, with 5cm falling in the last few hours. Temperatures are expected to rise to around -8 or -9 today with another 10 to 15cm of snow in the forecast before Santa makes his journey later tonight. 

Grooming is currently underway on Clearwater main trail. We will likely leave the loops til tomorrow. Busk will be next. Cottonwood has already been groomed and we will finish up on Apex and Night Loop last. Please slow down and use caution if you’re skiing around the grooming machine when it’s in operation.
