Good morning, skiers and racers! It’s -15C with high clouds this morning, and temperatures are expected to rise to about -8C this afternoon. The forecast calls for cloudy skies, with snowfall beginning early this afternoon. All trails have received fresh grooming and tracksetting, with the exception of the side loops up Clearwater (Moose, Wolverine and Cabin), which were still in good shape after yesterday’s grooming. 

The Teck Kootenay Cup skate sprints are taking place today at Apex, so please park and ski at Busk/Clearwater today unless you are participating in the races as an athlete or volunteer. The stadium and night loop are closed until the races wrap up this afternoon. You may ski over to Cottonwood from Busk, or you can also park at Cottonwood Lake.
