🌲🌲🌲 APEX LOOP is currently CLOSED under the trees.

Several large trees are leaning over the trail and could fall at any moment. The trail is closed for your safety and will be closed until further notice. We will have the trees assessed as they are all large enough that they will likely need to be felled by a professional.

No fresh snow in the last 24 hours.

Trails groomed early this morning include Apex Loop, Night Loop, Cottonwood Rail Grade. These trails are in excellent condition for skate and classic skiing.

We attempted using our primary grooming machine on these trails and have subsequently decided that we best wait until we receive remaining parts order before attempting it again. The blade on the machine is too unstable without the missing parts and we risk doing further damage to the machine.

The remainder of the network, including Busk, Euphrates and Clearwater, were touched up with the sled and ginzu. Conditions may be starting to deteriorate on these trails.

Unfortunately, our secondary grooming machine now has an issue with its hydraulics, as well. We are working on getting it into the shop as the primary machine comes back online. We continue to make the best of a difficult situation and use the tools at our disposal to keep at least some trails in decent condition each day.
