TRAIL CONDITIONS UPDATE
January 12th, 2019
+1 degree overnight with no new snow. -1 degree at 7:30am.
 
The following trails have been groomed for skate and classic
  • Clearwater and Loops: Classic/Skate -Excellent
  • Clearwater bypass: Classic/Skate -Good
  • Night loop: Classic/Skate – Excellent
  • Night creek loop: Classic/Skate – Excellent
  • Apex: Classic/Skate – Excellent
  • Cottonwood: Classic/Skate – Excellent
  • Cottonwood Loop: Classic/Skate – Excellent
  • Field Loop: Classic/Skate -Excellent
  • Busk connector: Classic/Skate – Excellent

  • Clearwater cabin loop: Classic/Skate -Excellent
  • Night loop: Classic/Skate – Excellent

TRAIL CONDITIONS UPDATE
January 10th, 2019
 
+1 degree overnight with 10cm of new snow followed by rain. + 1 degree at 6:30am. We have received approximately 20cm of new snow since yesterday morning.
 
  • Clearwater (Main and Bypass only): Classic/Skate – Good
  • Night loop: Classic/Skate – Good
  • Night Creek Loop: Classic/Skate – Good
  • Apex: Classic/Skate – Good
  • Cottonwood: Classic/Skate – Good

TRAIL CONDITIONS UPDATE
January 9th, 2019

Update at 4:10pm
 
NIGHT LOOP AND SOME APEX SIDE TRAILS WILL BE GROOMED WITH THE GINZU STARTING AT 5PM – IT WAS A BIG SNOW DAY OUT AT APEX-BUSK!

-4 degrees overnight with 8cm of new snow at 8am

It is currently snowing with 5-10cm of accumulation expected throughout the day.

Clearwater has not been groomed this shift.

Ginzu grooming of Cleawartwater  Main and lower trail touch ups will begin when snowfall ends. I will update this page when Ginzu grooming is anticipated to begin.

Night loop: Classic/Skate – Excellent (5cm accumulation over new grooming)

Night Creek Loop: Classic/Skate – Excellent (5cm accumulation over new grooming)

Apex: Classic/Skate – Excellent

Cottonwood: Classic/Skate – Excellent

TRAIL CONDITIONS UPDATE
January 8th, 2019
 
-8 degrees overnight with no new snow. -11 degrees at 9am
 
Trail assessment by Jay Rusu complete at 10:00am
 
All main trails have been groomed and trackset and are in excellent condition this morning.
 
Segments not groomed last night were all of Busk- Euphrates, Clearwater above 4.5km and the Clearwater Bypass and Loops. These trails remain in very good condition and did not require grooming. There is about 15mm of fresh snow over the grooming above 4.5km above Clearwater.
 
Clearwater up to 4.5km is in the best condition so far this season!
 
It’s excellent conditions for classic kick waxing today and the tracks are in great shape. Skate skiers, you won’t be disappointed either.
